Why Premium Mesquite? We believe the beauty and character of mesquite is in the figured grain, depth of color and longer length planks. To achieve this, we carefully select the finest raw material in the longest lengths possible. The result is a more beautiful floor that will last for generations.
We are extremely proud of the quality milling our products offer. Every piece is cut and molded on state-of-the-art, precision milling equipment. Our profile meets NAFMA (North American Flooring Manufacturers Association) specifications, including a recessed nail channel and thicker wear surface. Finally, we mill to such exacting thickness specifications that less sanding is required.
The wood we use is kiln-dried in state-of-the-art, computerized commercial kilns. Sensors are placed throughout the load of wood to monitor temperature and humidity. This is critical to cure the wood uniformly to ensure proper milling and pest control. Proper drying is the only way to ensure insects like the powder post beetle are eliminated from the wood. Only a state-of-the-art commercial kiln can achieve this level of drying.
Finally, our service is second to none. At our warehouse facility in Austin, Texas, we maintain a substantial inventory of flooring and rough sawn lumber. In most cases, we can ship your order within 24 hours. Simply put, no one offers the quality and service that we do.
